Aroma Addiction began in 2016 with one simple goal: to create the best wax melts we possibly could — no shortcuts, no compromises.

What started in a kitchen making a few hundred melts a week has grown into a proudly home-grown Wellington business, crafting much-loved soy wax melts for homes all across New Zealand. Every melt is still thoughtfully made, thoroughly tested for scent throw and longevity, and created using only premium fragrance oils.

We believe fragrance should be bold, long-lasting, and reliable. If it doesn’t fill the room beautifully, it doesn’t make the collection. Period.

Over the years, Aroma Addiction has become known for strong scent throw, quality ingredients, and consistency customers can trust. We focus on timeless fragrance families — sweet, fresh, fruity, floral, musky, and perfume-inspired — designed to bring small moments of joy into everyday life.

We’re here for the cosy nights, the clean-home resets, the “guests are coming” panic sprays, and the quiet evenings where scent makes everything feel intentional.

  Three degrees and one MBA — because apparently I collect certificates as enthusiastically as I collect fragrance oils.

• Goal planning is my love language.
  I don’t just set goals — I design systems around them. I even launched a Goal Planner because I couldn’t find one that worked the way my brain does.

• Small circle, big loyalty.
  Family first. Always. I keep my circle tight and intentional.

• Foodie with a sweet tooth.
  Chocolate? Yes. Pavlova, macarons, meringue? Terrified of them.

• Book hoarder tendencies.
  I own nearly 200 books. Have I read them all? No. Will I stop buying more? Also no.

• Late-night idea generator.
  Some of the best product ideas and business pivots have happened after 10pm with a notebook and complete silence.

• I love starting things.
  New product lines. New systems. New goals. Building from scratch is my comfort zone.

• Citrus resets my brain.
  If I feel overwhelmed, I clean something and light (or melt) something citrus.

• I believe in progress over perfection.
  But also… I will test a wax formula multiple times until it’s right.
